Plan Your Internet Marketing Process
Whether you are a one-map operation of a vast corporation (or any business operation that falls between the two), you need to plan your Internet marketing process if you are going to have any kind of benefit derived from your marketing efforts. The bigger a business grows the more elaborate and sophisticated the marketing tools become. The thing is that these tools can help anyone but unless you are on the larger side of the business pool, you probably cannot hire twenty people to analyze the global market and present a report telling you exactly where your business is, where the competitors are, what they are doing, what you need to do, how to do it, and how much it will cost for how long.
However, just because it sounds so intimidating does not mean that you can it without further thought. You do not need an army of marketing gurus in order to plan your Internet marketing process. All it needs a little common sense and business acumen, both of which can be acquired through education, training, and experience.
The best to go in case you are new to the whole Internet marketing game is to do what is known as “micro level planning”. Micro planning is a good way to knowing exactly where you are and where you wish to go from here.
Here is how to plan your Internet marketing process using micro planning.
Being by asking yourself a simple question: Why are you marketing on the Internet anyway? Is it to increase public awareness, to increase sales, just to build a community, or all three? Then you should note down how much of your marketing efforts would be online and how much time you intend to spend on online marketing tasks.
There are many strategies to help you plan your Internet marketing process. Make a checklist of the ones that you would like to use including but not limited to Forums, eBooks, Newsletters, Contests, Banners, Articles, and Viral Marketing.
What type of analysis will your marketing be subjected to? What is the return on investment that you expect and how are you going to monitor it? What is your annual internet marketing budget and how will this be divided among the various marketing strategies that you have selected?
Timelines are equally important because they help you to set milestones. Without timelines you are in constant danger or falling behind or getting confused within your plan for Internet marketing. Keep a strict note for dates and time all projects.

Start an Adwords Campaign With a High CPC
You want to start Off your Adwords campaign with a high cost per click. For anyone on a marketing budget, that certaintly sounds counter intuitive. But the simple truth is you are looking to save money in the long run.
Setting an initial high cost per click is one of the best kept secrets of the Adwords industry. Your quality score for any keyword is largely determined by the number of consumers who click your ad. Google allows the marketplace to determine the best ads in a Darwinian survival of fittest game. The more clicks your ad gets per impression, the more Google increase the quality score.
Lets assume you’ve already optimized your Adwords ads and landing pages according to the Adwords Strategy Guide. When you do so, your ad starts with a high quality score. This is important so that you will get better ad positions and more traffic for a much lower cost.
But if you bid a low cost per click your ad is going to show at lower ad positions. That means your get impressions, but since you are not in the top 3 ad positions you are going to get fewer clicks. Impressions without clicks lowers the CTR. Lower CTR causes Google to think the ad is not relevant and lower the quality score. You need a CTR of at least a half percent.
Instead, you start with a a high initial cost per click. You bid for the top three ad positions, or perhaps the top ad position. Keep in mind you’ll still get the top spot cheaper with the Adwords Strategy Guide than without out. Now your getting many clicks per impression and your CTR is on the rise. Your quality score goes up.
About two weeks after the launch of your campaign you can begin to slowly lower the click per click. Your high CTR will allow you maintain your top three position while the cost per click is dropping. As long as the CTR remains high, you can keep dropping the cost per click and still maintain your ad position.
You will have a few weeks of a high cost per click. However, in the long run you will be able to have cheaper costs per click because of the CTR you captured in those first few weeks.

Google Adwords for Small Business
It was in 2007 that I really got a breakthrough .I was reading and learning new techniques of business using the Internet. Google had introduced a powerful new medium called Google Adwords (adwords.google.com ) . It is basically a classified type of an advertisement but it appears in a large part of the Google network . It also appears as sponsored listing when someone searches for a particular product on the right hand side of the search result page . It just so happened that i was looking for ways to promote a small website I did for a small family owned business of grandpa and dad . After submitting in popular classifieds websites and business directories I was just checking different ideas. We did get some queries and references by posting in some classifieds websites
It was then that an engineer friend and me discussed at length about Google Adwords . After going through a few days of rough reading i decided it was okay to do it.What started as a simple thing multiplied into such a powerful platform and medium . My engineer friend was kind enough to allow me to use his Google Adwords account to make a account for myself. At that time I started making a small advertisement for the family business website I had made.
The advertisement would appear whenever some searched for used machines or other such terms and keywords mentioned below in detail. It would appear on the right under the column sponsored links and listings .Google would charge us only when someone would click our ad and visit our website.Though at that time the ads were costly per click . I still maintained a budget of around 125 USD a month .
I started getting inquiries on the email I had mentioned on our home page and also my fathers phone number was mentioned and people started calling up my father for their requirement of machines. In about a years time I had gained full understanding of how the adwords.google.com worked and how powerful a medium it is.Have u experienced or understood electricity as a powerful medium. As people started writing in I had a hard time keeping up with answering their emails and doing some other things. It was tough as I was going a through long term depression. And in the second year I started writing to people in greater details and started sending them photographs of the machines i had clicked. This gave the customers and clients some sense of security. We sold more than 30 machines in a brief span of time.It still was a difficult task as to how the machines were being sold and how I was able to get the contacts .Some key people from key companies came and bought machines. It was clear that the medium of Google ads was proving more than a help.As time passed by Google reduced the prices of their clicks and now it seems quite reasonable and sensible for us. Google also has a strict quality check on unwanted or invalid or fake clicks. If some company or person tries to do it the Google servers are able to detect it and label it as an invalid click.
